THEME: The Hara - This annual Community Gathering is an opportunity to share our common passion with the regional Healing Touch Community. Join us to meet new friends, network, share ideas, learn together and blend our energies to expand our potential.
Friday Night, March 30,2012 - Opening Ceremony & Pinning 7:00 - 8:30 pm
This ceremony recognizes and honors the dedication needed to complete the special journey to certification. Healing Touch Practitioners who have completed the certification process will be pinned during the ceremony. We welcome new practitioners from any of the Healing Touch certification programs to be honored
Guests are welcome, RSVP on registration
We will contact each person being pinned to coordinate the pins to be used and the person designated to pin them.

The Hara is a day long workshop designed to align & strengthen our Hara and connect us with all there is .
Gathering Keynote Speaker : Jeanne Cherner graduated from Smith College with a BA in Comparative Religion and a minor in Psychology. She has an R.N. from El Centro College in Dallas, TX. She worked for 15 years as a psychiatric nurse with extensive experience in the areas of community mental health and substance abuse. She is a certified Gestalt Therapist from the New Institute for Gestalt Therapy in NYC, NY. She is a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. She is a certified practitioner in Healing Touch. She has studied extensively with Twin Cities’ Ron Moor and Michele Mayama. Jeanne has been working in private practice as a healer, mentor, and teacher for the last 19 years, seeing individual clients and offering classes and workshops in the Twin Cities area. Her favorite subject to teach is the Hara. She is still saying “I love this work!"

Gathering Music: Kent Richards
Kent Richards is a talented native flute player, who has composed and recorded 2 solo CDs and a collaborative CD.He has also provided background music for a 12 step meditation CD for people in recovery. He performs his music at church services and funerals in the Twin Cities area. Kent is an HTI-PA, NAR/HHA, and DCS at a group home. He is also an Ordained Minister, and President/Founder of Inner Spirit Harmony, which carries his mission, passion and drive to help people heal mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically through music and the healing arts. As an additional component of Inner Spirit Harmony, Kent enjoys guiding and outfitting spiritually-based canoe trips in the B.W.C.A. and other locations.
